I recently upgraded my X9 Endnote version to 2025. (OS: MS 2010 Home, Office 2010). I’ve encountered a few issues and have a few questions: Bug: for some reason, it takes a good few seconds each time I want to insert an entry into my word document, I need to change it, it needs to update etc. When I returned to X9 for a sec, it was so quick! Anyone a suggestion how to improve speed? Issue ...
Hi, My endnote is not syncing libraries. Endnote desktop is installed by IT of my university (can’t see which account is logged in on desktop), and I signed up using my personal email on endnote Chrome of same laptop. I added the personal email on desktop using ‘sync’ feature but nothing shows up on either. Nothing is synced - personal account still has 2 references I added as test on ...
EndNote user since DOS version (362 kB floppy disk), but – for how much longer? (AI summary for single PDFs - gimme a break, read the abstract) Might add (Window$ here): why has the option to specify lowercase/upper case in the Search fields been removed (eg for names/acronyms)? And why no longer one-click marking Latin to Greek letters?
When you import from Pubmed, Endnote captures the PMID in the field “Accession Number” – while you can edit the field type of journal reftype to reflect that (edit preferences, modify reftype) – it can mess up things, you will need to edit the output styles too, and it has to be tranferred from computer to computer.

Exclusive access to the brand-new, totally rebuilt EndNote Web. Recover a lost or damaged library with ease. Single reference restoration – made a copy paste error? Accidentally removed an important file attachment? No worries ...
In ENDNOTE 2025, on the desktop version (windows) on the left Panel at the bottom, there is a section for “Online Search.” These are currently in the list for online search: Jisc Library Hub Discovery Library of Congress PubMed (NLM) Web of Science Core Collection Is there a way to add “Google Scholar” to the list of online search tools? Thank you for your help with this.
I am wondering if there is a way to export a website to endnote? I love using Google Scholar to export references into my Endnote library, but it is tedious to fill out all the fields when I need to include a website as a reference. Is there a plugin or something similar that can export the website information into Endnote? Thanks.
